My design philosophy has always been about empathy and focus, hiding that grand design behind art’s basic patterns and flow.

LOGO: Java Love Coffee

Java Love is the largest coffee company in Kenya. The client wanted an organic feel to the brand that appeals to the younger crowd.

To make the logo feel organic, I used a typography that emulates the stencil-like and carving look that gives that etched illusion behind the dominant colours of the Kenyan Flag.

The design campaign “A Cup of Stories” shares the elements of a table wrapped in Kenyan designed textile. It evokes acceptance, non-judgemental inclusivity and honest conversations.

PACKAGING DESIGN: Steve’s Bread and Pastries

Stevo Bread and Pastries is a family-owned bakeshop in the Philippines. The concept behind the logo stems from the bakeshop culture in the Philippines wherein the face of the owner who is the patriarch or the matriarch is often incorporated in the logo.

As for the packaging design, the client wanted to save costs in printing. I opted for the brown and white paper since it’s a most common bread packaging n the Philippines.

It highly appeals to the locals bringin in the flavours of nostalgia in how freshly baked breads were bought by our parents and grandparents.
